MAPACA - Harrisburg, PA

We've just arrived back from PAOBA (Pennsylvania Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association) show last weekend which concludes our participation as vendors in three fun alpaca shows this spring. Many have asked us what happens at alpaca shows so we're here to give you all the juicy details.

Object Mythology's Men's Line at The Northeast Alpaca Show

Object Mythology participates as a vendor in 6-7 alpaca shows on the East Coast every year to promote our luxury line of alpaca products for men, women and home.

Object Mythology's Fall 2012 Product Offering

We have 65 farms we work with in the United States and Canada and get to reconnect with familiar faces and meet many new ones at each of these shows.

Many of the farms we work with will produce yarn and other goods made with the fiber from their alpacas and they will also carry our line to boost their product offering.

Alpacas are not only friendly, cute and cuddly their fiber is of incredible value. We ask Robin Shatzkin of Autumn Kiss Alpacas why farms like hers attend alpaca shows: “Shows are for showcasing your best seed stock alpacas. When an animal does well in the show ring, they are considered valuable because they can help the owner breed more alpacas like it. Alpaca shows are “frontline marketing” for your business”. She's pictured here with Freedom Fighter, color champion at the Northeast Alpaca Expo.

We'll be attending more shows this fall so be sure to check in for updates!Rich Text AreaToolbarBold (Ctrl / Alt + Shift + B)Italic (Ctrl / Alt + Shift + I)Strikethrough (Alt + Shift + D)UnderlineUnordered list (Alt + Shift + U)Ordered list (Alt + Shift + O)OutdentIndentAlign Left (Alt + Shift + L)Align Center (Alt + Shift + C)Align Right (Alt + Shift + R)Insert/edit linkUnlink (Alt + Shift + S)Insert/edit imageEdit CSS StyleInsert More Tag (Alt + Shift + T)Insert Page break (Alt + Shift + P)Toggle spellchecker (Alt + Shift + N)▼
